Built in 1860, this was the first western style theater in China and is now one of the most important landmarks in the context of the local Macanese community, hosting important public events and celebrations.
There are still many art and music groups performing here today.
Dom Pedro V Theatre is a neoclassical style building, with the frontispiece topped by a triangular pediment supported by four pairs of Ionic columns.
